The Australasian Council of Women & Policing (ACWAP)

The Australasian Council of Women & Policing was established in August 1997 and is a growing group of women and men within police services, law enforcement agencies and the community who are working together to:

 

• improve the policing services provided to women;
• improve opportunities and outcomes for women within policing;
• participate in the global network of women in policing.

The Queensland Police Service (QPS)

The Queensland Police Service is the primary law enforcement agency for the State of Queensland.  The QPS fulfil this role throughout the State, 24 hours a day, upholding the law and providing assistance to the community when necessary and in times of emergency, disaster and crisis.
